Our Vision
At Indy School of Leadership, we give students hands-on ministry experience, Bible education, and personal development training. This translates into practical, real-life ministry opportunities that each student can use for the rest of their lives. Our heart is to prepare and equip leaders to make an impact on this world. We offer a variety of ways each student can grow as a Christian leader through our unique Integrative Learning Experience (ILE) opportunities and practicums.

Can I have a job while attending Indy School of Leadership?Yes! Traditional students are required to be on campus Wednesdays and Thursdays, but can have a part-time job outside required practicum & internship hours. Adult learners can work full-time and can flexibly complete their practicum hours.

What are the general requirements for Indy School of Leadership?Faith: As a Christian University, all of our students have made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Diploma: Graduation from high school, or having the equivalent of a high school diploma such as the General Education Development (GED) examination. Core Subjects: A minimum of a 2.0 GPA in core college-prep classes (English, Mathematics, Social Sciences, and a Science with a lab).

Where do my classes take place?Students take courses through North Central University's online program throughout the week. Coursework can be completed on their own time or on campus during designated study hours.

Will credits from other institutions transfer to North Central University?Yes, credits can be transferred on a course-by-course basis that is evaluated by North Central.

Is Indy School of Leadership accredited?Yes. Indy School of Leadership is fully accredited through North Central University.

How many hours of experience will I receive each week?ISL students get approximately 10-15 hours of experience per week in their field of choice.

Is participation required for services and major events at Grace Assembly of God?Yes. Students get experience leading teams during Sunday services and other ministry events.

Do I receive credits for my practicum involvement?Yes. The Integrative Learning Experience, or ILE, awards credit for hours completed during practicums. Student internships can also grant credits toward your degree.

Do I get to focus on a certain ministry?Yes! Indy School of Leadership partners with students to help them pursue their calling. Students are encouraged to pick a ministry area for their practicums and gain training and mentorship in that area.
